Getting started

Send me a commission request. It takes a few minutes and tells me what you’re imagining. I’ll come back to you about whether it’s something I can build and roughly what it would cost. When you’re ready to go further, you book the $200 design consultation and we get into the details.

No. Anything about process, pricing, timelines, shipping, or discretion is answered on this page, and the commission request is free. The $200 consultation is for the work that’s specific to you: designing around your body, your space, and how you actually intend to use the piece.

Yes, that’s the heart of the studio. Every piece starts with a conversation about scenes, mobility, and what you’ve imagined and never asked for. Send a commission request and bring your idea.

The design consultation

My time reviewing your commission request, the conversation where we work out measurements, materials, and how the piece needs to behave, and the design work that comes out of it. It also holds your spot in my build queue. It is credited in full toward your commission, so if you go ahead with a build it costs you nothing extra.

No. It pays for real work that happens before anything is built, so it isn’t refundable. What it does do is come straight off your total, so it’s a deposit rather than a fee if you go ahead.

Once your design is settled I start buying materials and building, so payments toward the build aren’t refundable, that money has already gone into steel, upholstery, and hours. If you need to stop partway, the materials already purchased may be usable for a future commission.

Paying for it

Yes. If you’d rather spread it out, we can. It begins with the $200 design consultation, which comes straight off your total. Then we set a monthly amount that actually fits your budget, and your design gets underway right away. I order materials once you’re halfway paid, start building at 70%, and ship the day it’s paid in full. No interest, no rush.

Card, through the booking page. If you’d prefer to keep the purchase off a card entirely, Zelle works too, just ask and I’ll send details.

Shipping is quoted per piece and destination before the build begins, most US freight deliveries land in the $150–$400 range. Nothing is a surprise.

Discretion & delivery

Yes. Your piece ships in a plain, nondescript box. There is nothing on the outside that says what’s inside, what it’s for, or what studio it came from.

Just umbrage studio, nothing more descriptive than that. If you’d rather it not appear on a card at all, Zelle is an option.

Builds & the studio

More than you need it to. Every piece is built around the body it’s for and then overbuilt from there, designed to your weight and to how you actually intend to use it, including the loads that come with movement rather than sitting still. If you have a specific requirement, put it in your commission request and I’ll build to it.

Most builds take 5–9 weeks from consultation to delivery, depending on complexity and the current queue.

Not currently, every piece is built to order for its owner. If you have something specific in mind, an event or a shoot, email me and we can talk about it.

No showroom yet. Pieces appear at events like Seattle Fetish Ball, are sometimes on display at Kink Center, and pleasure pew and primal perch are available to try at Lover’s Lair. You can always see current work on Instagram.
